Back when we were all Lockdown rookies, we began developing some ways to continue our Snorkel for Science activity virtually. The idea was to pre-record (or live stream!) a weekly dive at one of our favourite sites and make these 360° videos available for viewing on our website. Viewers could log in and tag the fish and sharks they spotted in the videos.

We got as far as recording a demo dive and building the 360° player before beaches re-opened and we could get back to our in person activities. Check it out!

Should we keep working on this? Let us know in the comments!

Maybe someone wants to sponsor a 360° camera with a proper underwater housing?
